Apple has authorized a new game app, named Wheel of Bitcoins, that lets users to receive payments in virtual currency.

Wheel of Bitcoins, a new game app based on digital currency, has received approval from one of the leading tech companies in the US. The mobile app lets its users to earn money by guessing various combinations of bitcoins.

Given its positive view of cryptocurrency, Apple more frequently allows its app developers to incorporate bitcoin payments. Over the last few months, the company has already approved 7 bitcoin-based apps that are included in the Apple Store. The integration of bitcoin payments by popular mobile game apps helps to take the digital currency into the mainstream and raise people’s awareness of bitcoin.

Wheel of Bitcoins is a casino-style roulette game app, which enables players to get rewards in digital currency. The winners, which are sent money directly to their emails via Xapo wallet, are able to immediately withdraw their funds.

The Apple store also includes apps from other bitcoin game developers, including Bitcoin Alien. Apple, according to the company, knows about the game’s payout system based on virtual currency.

“The team was actually accepting of them, had a few questions but they absolutely know that we pay out bitcoin and had no problem with it. We actually give out around 5-7btc a week between these 3x apps now, and if you search for “bitcoin” the app “Bitcoin Free” is 2nd/3rd in the Apple store,” the Bitcoin Alien team commented on Reddit.

In June, the Apple team has approved Game of Birds, a game app with an integrated bitcoin tipping. While playing the game, users collect coins that represent the digital currency. The money can either be utilized for in-game purchases or be withdrawn through a Coinbase wallet.

SaruTobi is among the other game apps, authorized by Apple, that offer tips in digital currency. According to the game developer, Christian Moss, the new app was a great way to introduce bitcoin to people unfamiliar with virtual money.

Still, some cryptocurrency-based apps, including Wheel of Bitcoins, have been criticized for their cooperation with Xapo, known for its complex identification system.

Xapo is one of the globe’s major wallet service providers that allow users to acquire and sell digital currency to customers all over the world. In order to register on the website, users have to undergo a complex verification process due to its Money Laundering and Know Your Customer policies.

According to CoinTelegraph, a long identification process makes it challenging for Wheel of Bitcoins users to utilize the app. During the procedure, the customers are required to provide too much data, just like fiat-based financial systems.
