Overstock.com plans to develop cryptosecurities stock exchange that will allow retailers to issue their corporate stock over the internet.
Overstock is opening up trading on its security token market, tZERO, to all traders. Retail investors will now be able to trade on the platform starting August 12.
Overstock’s affiliated blockchain company Medici Ventures has funded a beta-launch of the cryptocurrency wallet designed by Bitsy to blur borders between digital and fiat money.
The new exchange is promised to drive the growth of security token market by changing the trade of virtual tokens issued via Initial Coin Offerings.
