The new blockchain-based startup continues to recruit biggest sportsmen who will help to guide the future development of its sports platform.

SportyFi is a decentralized sports ecosystem that aims to transform the sports financing industry by providing financial connection between the athletes, sports clubs and organizations with fans, sports enthusiasts and individual business people. The platform was launched with an aim of facilitating investment in sports, allowing fans and investors to take part in one of the fastest growing industries. With SportyFi, the sports community will be able to raise capital over the world, building new investment strategies.

The project can already boast many top athletes among its sports advisors, who contribute to the growth of the platform making sure it is evolving in the right direction. Its supporters include a winter sports legend, Noriaki Kasai, Slovenian basketball player, Primož Brezec, the most well-known former football player in Serbia, Savo Milošević, a former Slovenian ski jumper, Vasja Bajc, and a former alpine skier from Sloveni, Špela Pretnar.

One of the best-known advisors that have recently joined the project is a Brazilian football legend Roberto Carlos. The player has performed on multiple FIFA World Cups and played for best football clubs, such as Inter Milan and Real Madrid. After retiring five years ago, Carlos worked as the head coach of the Turkish Sivasspor and the Indian Delhi Dynamos. Currently, he is part of the Real Madrid staff and works with young talents and helps his team to win another Champions league title.

“A great project which I am happy to support: SportyFi will work with young athletes at the most crucial point in their career and will give fans and small investors the opportunity to support them,” Carlos said.

Recently, SportyFi announced that it partnered with the Slovene Basketball Association that will facilitate the development of the platform, providing its experience and professional expertise. Besides, it will take part in the promotion of the upcoming ICO. The partnership will bring SportyFi a Cleveland Cavaliers scout and former NBA player, Primož Brezec, as its advisor.

Last week, the startup welcomed Charlie Shrem, an early cryptocurrency proponent and a founding member of the Bitcoin Foundation, as an expert advisor on the technology and business aspects of SportyFi.

“I like projects that are applying the blockchain outside of the financial sector — and sports is an industry ripe for a revolution,” Shrem said.

SportyFi is now preparing to launch a crowdsale of its SPF tokens that will run for 17 days from November 21, 2017, till December 7, 2017. Investors will be able to earn a 10% bonus by acquiring tokens within the first 72 hours of the crowdsale or by contributing more than 100 ETH.
