With Bitrefill, owners of cryptos may also spend their coins on Airbnb, and such brands as IKEA, Netflix, Nike, REI, GameStop, Petco, as well as on e-commerce portals including eBay, Amazon, Hotels.com, and Steam.
Bitrefill, Stockholm-based cryptocurrency gift card provider, has announced support for Airbnb. Now users are able to purchase Airbnb rentals with five cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, and Dogecoin. The cards can be paid for in denominations of $50, $100 and $25.

Currently, the Airbnb gift cards can only be redeemed by US residents with a US-based payment method. Moreover, Airbnb gift cards are possible to apply for reservations under 28 nights.
Bitrefill, that already supports more than 1800 business and private entities involved in a wide range of different sectors, provides consumers access to a great variety of products across a number of categories, from tech to travel to retail and enables them to ‘live on crypto’ by buying everyday items.

Last week, Bitrefill announced support for Netflix subscriptions, with the same five cryptos: Bitcoin, Lightning, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, and Dogecoin.

The service for Netflix is only available for European or US Netflix users. For the US users, the gift cards are available in denominations of $25, $30 and $50. European customers can purchase gift cards in €15, €25, or €50.
Those who hold cryptos may spend altcoins on other popular brands and retailers such as Nike, REI, GameStop and Petco, and on e-commerce portals such as eBay, Amazon, Hotels.com, and Steam. Recently, Bitrefill added support for IKEA.

With this announcement, customers from Germany are able to purchase a 20 or 100 Euro gift card on IKEA’s website with Bitcoins. Further, German users can also purchase gift cards on e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Bol.com, and Zalando.
In January this year, Bitrefill launched a new service named ‘Thor’ in order to let users get an empty lightning channel opened for them from the platform’s node, with senders able to provide lightning channels without the recipient having to set up anything.
On the Way to Crypto Adoption
Today cryptos are everywhere: in business, manufacturing, banking, entertainment, gaming, even in the movie industry. Spending cryptos on purchasing gift cards is just one more way available now to use digital coins and support the crypto community.
