Bitwala Releases Web App Messenger, Allows Sending Bitcoins in Chat

Users can interact and send money to each other in the new Bitwala messenger.

Bitwala, Europe’s bill payment service that facilitates paying bills with bitcoin, has announced a new convenient feature for its customers – Bitwala messenger. This newly developed web application messenger allows interaction and transfer of money between users.

Thus, any user can leave a remainder to the person who owes money so that he could easily send money straight through the messenger. Senders can always control their transfers conducted through the messenger in the transaction history. “Have a friend that owes you money for lunch? Simply send a friendly reminder and your friend can send you the money straight through the messenger. Maybe you borrowed 20 Euros for a night out last weekend when you couldn’t find any ATMs nearby? You can easily drop a short apology to your friend and pay him back through our messenger”, writes Bitwala in the blog post.

According to the announcement, Bitwala messenger also enables writing personal remainders or notes within the chat, which only the sender would be able to read. Bitwala CEO Jörg von Minckwitz commented: “The chat messenger is definitely my favorite addition to the new and improved Bitwala. It’s like Whatsapp for money, and I absolutely love it”.

Bitwala assures that its messenger is open for everyone and does not require any level of verification. While working on the application, Bitwala team strived to develop an easy, convenient and reliable way for customers to send money faster. “You can chat and send money to any fellow Bitwala customer without worrying about any sort of verification beforehand”, says the company.

To start using Bitwala messenger, users should complete only three simple steps – to sign up at Bitwala (or to log in if they already have an account), click on the chat icon, find a fellow Bitwala user and start chatting!

Last month, Bitwala announced the launch of one more new feature that enables holders of Ether, Dash, Litecoin, and Dogecoin to pay bills, top-up bitcoin debit cards, and make international USD and SEPA payments with altcoins.

Bitwala has created a popular and efficient transfers platform that allows to conduct international bank payments using digital currencies such as bitcoin with a 0.5% fee through the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT).

Later, Bitwala provided the same service for altcoin users by enabling SEPA transfers at a 0.5% fee with a one working day processing time and SWIFT transfers at a 0.5% fee plus 15 EUR per transaction rate.
“We are offering the best currency rates and fees on the market. We also believe transparency is key when it comes to providing excellent service to customers”, says Bitwala team. It underlined that there are no hidden costs and fees, which makes Bitwala the cheapest and most reliable international digital currency payment network in the cryptocurrency market.
