The newly unveiled iPhone 7 comes with updates iOS 10, the biggest iOS release ever. One of the third-party apps for its iMessage feature will include Circle, the peer-to-peer payments technology company utilizing Bitcoin and traditional fiat currencies.

The iOS 10 update offers an advanced iMessage service and developers will be able to bring third-party applications to the platform. Apple informs that the beta version of the iMessage app shows multiple apps, music and GIF sharing abilities added to the texting service. The service also includes such third-party platforms as Square Cash, Lyft and Circle Pay.

Circle Financial CEO Jeremy Allaire emphasizes that consumers will definitely benefit from the payment service on iMessager. “There’s a hurdle to have to install a smartphone app so that I can pay my buddy and all the inputting and setup,” Allaire said. “To do it all within the iMessages app is a lot easier.”

Circle has always stated a wider adoption of its bitcoin wallet as its primary aim. So far, the company has been expanding in Europe. It has made first significant steps in China just recently. In July, Circle got investment in the amount of $60 million from the Chinese search engine Baidu and several other major Chinese investors, as well as Breyer Capital, IDG Capital partners and the major crowdfunding platform Creditease.

Last year, Circle Pay raised another $50 million from Goldman Sachs, Breyer Capital, General Catalyst Partners, Accel Partners, Oak Investment Partners, Fenway Summer, Digital Currency Group and Pantera Capital.

Circle is thinking globally and planning to promote its app Circle Pay all over the world. “We want to connect consumers using dollars, punds, euro and renminbi, the same way that the web, email and other protocols have connected consumers globally.” the company said.

Circle Pay uses blockchain to enable instant and free transfer of funds. Customers can send money in their own currency to people in other countries who can cash out in their respective currency. Circle converts the original currency to bitcoin, moves the amount along the blockchain to a bitcoin address associated with the recipient and they can either leave bitcoin, or convert the amount back into their currency.
