Avalanche Blockchain Taps Alipay+ to Launch Web 3.0 Voucher Program

According to Avalanche, users can obtain the vouchers from one of its partners in Southeast Asia by playing branded mini games.

Avalanche blockchain and China’s leading payment app Alipay+ have forged a partnership aimed at taking digitalization solutions to the next level. According to a blog post, the collaboration seeks to integrate Web 3.0 technology into everyday transactions. Therefore, the partners have launched an innovative e-wallet and voucher program.

Alipay+ D-store Integrates with Avalanche Subnet

The groundbreaking alliance has resulted in a comprehensive digitalization solution called the Alipay+ D-store. This solution merges e-wallet functionality with a Web 3.0-enabled voucher program.

According to Avalanche, users can obtain the vouchers from one of its partners in Southeast Asia by playing branded mini-games.

By possessing the vouchers, Avalanche says users can enjoy up to 50% discounts on milk teas from 10 of the most popular tea brands in the region. The firm noted that the offer is currently available in at least 500 shops spread across the region. However, it also pointed out that it plans to extend the initiative to another 2,000 shops soon.

Meanwhile, it might be noteworthy that this program is fully powered by the Avalanche Subnet. The subnet not only ensures that the program operates seamlessly, but it is also responsible for facilitating access for over 100 million users primarily from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines.

The voucher program rollout is only the first of a two-part proof-of-concept (POC). According to Avalanche, the second part will focus exclusively on food and beverage merchants.

Overall, the POC is expected to help brands like Alipay+ D-store use Web 3.0 solutions to improve user interaction and engagement.

In the meantime, however, e-wallet partners throughout Southeast Asia may seamlessly integrate with Alipay+ D-store, tapping into its solutions, which include streamlining in-store processes, online selling, orders, marketing, and analytics.

More Collaborations in the Works

As it stands, the Web 3.0-enabled voucher program looks to open up room for further collaborations with other brands. That is especially true for brands that are particularly interested in exploring digital collectibles and blockchain-based tools.

Moreover, AvaCloud’s impressive work in simplifying Subnet deployment and its maintenance will also play a huge part in bringing these future collaborations to reality.

Without a doubt, Avalanche’s partnership with Alipay+ is a monumental achievement. It is an alliance that is sure to propel digitalization solutions forward.  But more importantly, it is a game-changing effort toward unlocking the transformative potential of Web3 technology in the digital economy.
