The story about hotels owned by Ronaldo turned out to be fake. But it has become known that LVMH will produce free hand sanitizer for French Hospital Authorities.

Even though it was reported through a lot of the media that a famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is turning his CR7 hotels into hospital to help people with coronavirus infection – it seems the news was fake.

One of the hotels that were rumored to be have transformed into an infirmary for people affected by the deadly disease, The Pestana CR7, slammed the rumors saying they are still – only a hotel.

A spokesperson told the media:

“We are a hotel. We are not going to be a hospital. It is a day like everyone else, we are and will remain a hotel. We are being phoned by the press. I wish you a nice day.”

Ronaldo Is Raising Voice in order to Help but Doesn’t Provide His Hotels

However, it is not true that Ronaldo doesn’t use his voice in order to help.

Rugani, who also plays for the Italian national team, is the first player in the country’s top football league to test positive for the virus, as the outbreak continues to spread in the country.

Ronaldo is in quarantine in Madeira after flying back to Portugal to visit his family. Rugani’s positive test came just three days after Juventus’ 2-0 Serie A win over Inter Milan, which was played behind closed doors because of the spread of the virus in Italy.

According to the latest information, the overall number of infected people in Italy is 24,747 that includes the number of recovered people – 2,335. The death toll in the country climbed to 1,809. Portugal currently has 245 confirmed cases and no deaths reported.

LVMH Comes to Rescue

Be it as it may, another huge company decided to give its due to the world-threatening situation. LVMH is prepping its perfume and cosmetics production sites to manufacture hydroalcoholic gel in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

The factories that produce perfume and makeup for brands like Christian Dior and Givenchy will be making hand sanitizer starting on Monday.

The French luxury giant will end the free disinfectant to French authorities and the Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris, the largest hospital system in Europe.

The company stated:

“Through this initiative, LVMH intends to help address the risk of a lack of product in France and enable a greater number of people to continue to take the right action to protect themselves from the spread of the virus. LVMH will continue to honor this commitment for as long as necessary, in connection with the French health authorities.”

France has closed its restaurants, cafes and all non-essential stores in an effort to combat the virus, which has infected more than 170,000 people worldwide and killed at least 6,526. In France, the death toll reached 127 with 5,423 total cases of infection.
