aelf’s first metaverse-themed hackathon, Top of OASIS, is going live on December 12th, 2021. Users and participants can join the aelf developer community for updates and hackathon details.
Once the event begins, competitors may submit their proposals at any time until February 9th, 2022. The internal review and debate will take place from February 10th to February 14th. The final results will be publicized on February 15th, 2022.
During the event, open-source developers and blockchain projects can compete for a share of the substantial prize pool while receiving extensive assistance from the aelf network in all aspects.
Diversifying the Community
The Top of OASIS Hackathon encourages early-stage projects and concepts from open source developer communities. It allows community members and associations to fund developer initiatives and blockchain enterprises. The hackathon’s goal is to broaden and diversify the aelf development community, which will help projects thrive and eventually join the aelf ecosystem.
So far, the project has had eager contacts from 60 people/teams from the United States of America, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Canada, China, India, Japan, Turkey, Spain, and other countries. Judges from Knowsec, RockX, bountyblok, Bitmain, Cypher9 Ventures, Microsoft MVP, Tencent, IEEE, and other companies have participated.

aelf has also prepared an attractive prizes pool for the participants. The top aelf seed foundation will receive a share from the $500,000 pool prize. The top GameFi prize is $15,000, the second at $10,000, the third at $5,000. The winning DeFi will receive S10,000, while the second will receive $8,000. The NFT, DAO, and Web3 winners will each receive $8,000. The last category will win special awards from judges where the most creative award, the most promising award, and the most popular award will each get $1,000.
ELF Price Is Rising
The cryptocurrency markets began the week positively, with aelf (ELF) coins among the top gainers.
The price of ELF first started accelerating upwards when aelf announced that FBG Capital and aelf were voted as production nodes for block production and transaction validation on the aelf mainnet in their second round of public node elections.
Another reason is that aelf is preparing to take on the Top of OASIS metaverse, scheduled for mid-December 2021.
