BLUM Launches Election-Themed Game with Cash Prizes amid Growing Demand for Token Listing

BLUM launched an election-themed game with cash prizes, sparking excitement and frustration over delayed token listing.

BLUM, a cryptocurrency exchange and gaming platform that integrates centralized and decentralized trading features within a Telegram mini-app, has announced it will be shaking things up for the US election season by launching an in-game competition with cash prizes for its users.

The developers introduced a new twist to their “Drop Game”, explaining that players are challenged to collect icons of presidential candidates throughout the election season. The competition will run until the official announcement of the new president, with those gathering the highest number of icons representing the winning candidate standing a chance to earn cash rewards from a prize pool.

The prizes include $5,000 for first place, followed by $2,500, $1,250, $500, and $250 for the next winners. Additionally, BLUM will randomly select five players to receive $100 USDT each, regardless of their chosen candidate.

Once the election is over, BLUM will stop the candidate icon drops, and the result will be decided based on the number of winning candidate icons collected. The team has promised to announce the winner of this “Drop Game Election Edition” on their official social media pages.

The BLUM team has issued a strong warning against cheating, stating that users who attempt to use bots will be disqualified.

Mixed Reactions as BLUM Users Await Token Listing

The new game edition has sparked mixed reactions. While some users have praised BLUM for their efforts, others have expressed frustration over the delay in listing the token, with some saying the prolonged wait is causing impatience.

A Web3 commentator questioned BLUM’s listing plans, noting that people are leaving the platform due to its extended timeline. The user urged the team to be transparent with the community or to provide a listing date.

Nonetheless, BLUM remains the most visited mini-app on Telegram, with over 44 million visitors, ranking above other popular play-to-earn games such as Hamster Kombat and X Empire.

New Partnerships Signal Ambitious Expansion Plans for BLUM

BLUM’s Election Edition is the latest in a series of new features aimed at keeping users engaged. The platform introduced “BLUM Daily Video Codes” to encourage users to watch daily videos in exchange for tokens and other rewards.

In addition to the new game features, BLUM has announced several strategic partnerships. The company recently partnered with The Open Platform (TOP), an organization that joined as an investor. With support from TOP and Binance Labs, BLUM aims to accelerate its mission of transforming the blockchain industry.

Moreover, BLUM has teamed up with Skate, a blockchain project designed to connect Web3 applications across EVM and non-EVM chains. This collaboration enables users to place predictions on Polymarket using the TON wallet, expanding BLUM’s offerings and utility.

With these activities and partnerships, BLUM is building a strong community, which, if it continues to engage actively, could signal a bright future for its token listing.
