Now, John Paul Baric is earning about $1.3 million a month. He likes spending money on traveling with his parents, eating out at restaurants, and driving luxurious cars.

Those who started to invest in Bitcoin (BTC) back in 2012 and did not give up are now on top. Examples are numerous. Let us meet one 24-year-old BTC miner from Texas who traded higher education at North Carolina State University for Bitcoin mining.

Back in 2012, when Bitcoin was not yet mainstream, John Paul ‘JP’ Baric from Austin, Texas, bought $1,400 (£1,060) worth of Bitcoin. At that time, he was still in school. As John Paul ‘JP’ Baric remembers, he was pretending to study at night while playing games online.

In 2017, John Paul Baric installed a Bitcoin mining rig in his parents’ basement. There, a group of computers was creating new Bitcoins by solving puzzles. Besides, he dropped out of North Carolina State University, where he was studying at the time, to get involved in crypto full-time. According to Baric, his family supported his decision as they “saw it coming.”

He said:

“I went to school for the first year to experience the atmosphere of college and get the chance to meet new people. But when Bitcoin started to skyrocket, I wanted to focus on it full-time. After graduating from college, I rented a warehouse and hired a friend as a sales representative and support staff.”

“As the business grew, I started selling mining rigs online and had a couple of my friends work for me and build rigs full time. In the basement, the company had over $2 million in revenue,” said he.

Now, John Paul is earning about $1.3 million a month. He likes spending money on traveling with his parents, eating out at restaurants, and driving luxurious cars.

24-Year-Old JP’s Key to Success in Bitcoin Mining

The self-made billionaire has no regrets about abandoning college and believes that to be successful, you do not need a degree. He said:

“You do not need a degree to be successful, you simply need the will to work on the same thing for two years and work towards creating value for everyone.”

Before turning 18, John Paul Baric was already earning a small fortune. Being passionate about crypto mining, he has become one of the pioneers in the industry. Currently, 24-year-old John Paul Baric is the owner of MiningStore, a cryptocurrency mining company that offers Bitcoin mining hardware, mining containers, and professional hosting. For crypto operations, JP is renting out abandoned real estate in Iowa. The facility earns $ 40,000 a day on 1,300 computers and has a total of 23 employees. In 2022, John Paul Baric is also planning to open a new office in Oklahoma.
