ChromaWay Gets Onboard AWS Partner Network

Beyond AWS, this collaboration will bloom to include strategic relationships with other APN members who are specialized in related tech offshoots like gaming.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network has welcomed a new partner to its ecosystem. Blockchain technology outfit ChromaWay joined the cloud computing leader to facilitate the listing of its solutions on the AWS Marketplace. This is inclusive of the services hosted on Chromia’s public platform.

Markedly, AWS already has a notable position in the blockchain ecosystem as it supports more than 70 top protocols and public networks.

ChromaWay Developers Will Be Biggest Beneficiaries

Coming onboard the platform is a strategic move for ChromaWay, particularly because it can explore several ways to leverage the AWS infrastructure. A key focus of the collaboration is that it simplifies the setup process for developers by introducing ‘one-click’ cloud-based environments. The integration brings ease to the process of building blockchain applications.

It achieves this by streamlining the development experience on Chromia’s dedicated programming language, “Rell.” In addition to the other perks of the integration, ChromaWay seeks to explore the deployment of consortium chains tailored to specific organizational needs, cloud-based nodes, and the deployment of AWS applications on the Chromia platform.

In the long run, the goal is to improve interoperability and boost the visibility of relational blockchain technology. Noteworthy, relational blockchain technology is crucial to reduce dependency on third-party indexing services, RPC servers, and data availability layers. Chromia co-founder Henrik Hjelte once shared insights into the term.

“Our journey began twelve years ago with Colored Coins, the world’s first token protocol. Following this, we launched a bank-backed stablecoin and recognized the potential of integrating relational databases with blockchain, inspiring the creation of Chromia,” Hjelte said. “After years of development, we are thrilled to see the concept of relational blockchain become a reality.”

Chromia’s relational blockchain technology can streamline user experience without compromising on the decentralized and permissionless nature of the network. Moreover, Chromia users can interact with Decentralized Applications (dApps) even if they do not own any cryptocurrency.

ChromaWay’s AWS Integration Extends to Other APN Members

Beyond AWS, this collaboration will bloom to include strategic relationships with other APN members who are specialized in related tech offshoots like gaming. This will mark another significant milestone for the blockchain outfit.

Ordinarily, game studios and developers are highly dependent on cloud computing, storage, and server solutions. They also rely on AI and ML integration, analytics, and security. Bringing other APN partners to ChromaWay is a strategy to explore synergies between their offerings, relational blockchain, and AWS services.

Meanwhile, Chromia has announced that it will go live on the MVP mainnet later this month. This will lay the essential groundwork for the Chromia network along with the inception of the native CHR tokens.

In preparation for this event, the current CHR token issued as ERC-20 on Ethereum and BEP-20 on BNB Chain, can be bridged to the MVP mainnet.
