The massive reward from the FTX.US will be distributed to four people, who will need to open their FTX.US accounts to avail their prizes.

FTX.US, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges globally, has decided to roll out free Bitcoins to advertise its up-and-coming crusade at Super Bowl LVI on 13th February.

While the number of Bitcoins to be given away is not yet decided, the number completely depends on the time at which the ad runs on the East Coast. This means, that if the advertisement goes on air at 8:50 PM, the Bahamian-based exchange will supply 8.50BTC (presently priced at $374,000). However, this also means that if the advertisement is run later in the night, the price will increase accordingly.

The slot for the advertisement is planned to be aired in the game’s second half, which begins at 8 PM ET (1:00 AM UTC, Feb 14) and goes on for one hour thirty minutes after its commencement. The massive Super Bowl Bitcoins reward from the FTX.US will be distributed to four people, who will need to open their FTX.US accounts to avail their prizes. The best part about this is that the participant doesn’t require an account to enter. The lucky winners will be reached via their Twitter accounts. Twitter users who follow and retweet FTX.US’s pinned tweet about the advertisement on their personal account are qualified for the competition. In addition to that, the players also should be legal residents of the United States, except the ones who live in New York.

Sam Bankman-Fried, who is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of FTX, is keen on using sports as a medium to advertise their crypto exchange. According to him, sports offers a clientele that is massive and ever-growing, with sports fanatics adopting the crypto space gradually. In a statement from Bankman-Fried, the twenty-nine-year-old founder was quoted saying that the Super Bowl is the grandest, most mainstream sports event through which one can share a message to a huge audience.

The Cryptocurrency exchange had recently in October, revealed the purchase of an advertisement spot in one of the most famous events in the United States. The Super Bowl, which is typically a championship game of the National Football League, enjoys a wide reach with 28 of the 30 highest-rating broadcasts in US TV history. Even though the content of the advertisement or the price of the purchase wasn’t disclosed, the figures show that NBC’s starting price for an ad in Super Bowl is approximately $6.5 Million.

Recently in June, FTX.US collaborated with Tom Brady, a former American football quarterback along with Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen. The crypto derivatives exchange also became an official sponsor of the Major League Baseball sometime in June last year, in a sponsorship deal that will last for five years.
