NiTron Summit is over. But the community has a lot of things to discuss, for example, Tron’s plans to put EOS behind.
The Tron Foundation has recently conducted its long-awaited and widely-promoted developer conference niTron Summit 2019. In the framework of the event Justin Sun, founder and the Chief Executive Officer of the Tron Foundation, has made a row of strong claims but it doesn’t look like the crypto community is going to blindly accept them all.
niTron Summit
It was a two-day conference that took place in San Francisco on January 17-18. The main aim of the event was to bring together the most prominent figures in the industry, top speakers, blockchain developers, crypto enthusiasts and many other people interested in the emerging technology and its mass adoption. The conference was a platform for them to share their experience and ideas.
Moreover, the Tron Foundation standing behind niTron Summit said that their event would open new opportunities for all the attendees allowing them to establish new valuable business contacts, attract investors and discuss some potential projects and initiative.
Among the special guests of the conference we should mention Justin Sun, CEO of Tron and BitTorrent; Tim Byun, CEO of OKCoin USA; Viktor Radchenko, founder of Trust Wallet; David Lahbart, former SEC officer; Ella Zhang, head of Binance Labs and many others.
Tron’s Claims
Marcus Zhao, head of the Tron public chain, who spoke about their latest achievements and plans for the future, managed to attract significant people’s attention saying that Tron “will listen to the community to achieve the decentralization of developing team and attract more developers to join us.” He emphasized that the community’s feedback is crucial for the company.
The head of the developer community of Tron, Li Cong, claimed that Tron is more than just a protocol, it is also a platform and ecosystem. He also promised that they soon would be able to surpass EOS as they already have 145 DApps and more than 3,000 developers in the network.
The community was looking forward to listening to Justin Sun who is known for his controversial vision and quite ambitious promises. According to him, there will be over 2000 DApps in the market this year.
He also said that the Tron’s network is always open to DApps and invited all developers to deploy their DApps on Tron’s network though Ethereum’s hardfork coordinator had cautioned the network’s developers from deploying DApps on the network.
Sun also highlighted that their team is always doing its best to create a better ecosystem for the DApps developers on the network and for Tron it doesn’t matter from which other networks these developers are coming to them.
On the sidelines of the conference, Justin Sun spoke to journalists and made many other interesting claims as well. For example, he said that games play a crucial role in blockchain mass adoption and internet decentralization. Every day the Tron network has from three to five uploads of new gaming apps.
