Autograph and Its NFT Activities

Autograph is Los Angeles-based company. Its platform brings together the most iconic brands and legendary names in sports, entertainment and culture to create unique digital collections and experiences. Its co-founder is Tom Brady, an American professional football quarterback who is among the sport’s all-time greats and the game’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) five times.

Autograph platform appeared in April this year. It has interactive offerings like live auctions, physical product drops, as well as in-person experiences. Launching the platform, Tom Brady intended to capitalize on the NFT boom. And seems that this investment was successful.

NFT, or non-fungible tokens, are digital tokens that represent ownership for virtual or physical assets. They usually take trades on unique electronic collectibles such as virtual art and images, in-app purchases, or other forms of digital assets on the web. NFTs have quickly become a new means of fan engagement in the sporting space, with various high-profile teams and organizations rolling out their own digital collectibles. Among the most famous examples are London-based NFT platform SportsIcon and Ethereum-based fantasy soccer platform Sorare.
