Binance Hints at Listing Hamster Kombat (HMSTR)

Hamster Kombat now plans to distribute approximately 60% of its token supply to gamers. The remaining 40% will be allocated to development and growth, market liquidity, and rewards for player squads, among other related initiatives.

Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange, has hinted at the possibility of adding Hamster Kombat (HMSTR) to its platform for spot trading.

According to reports, the company plans to list the digital asset for trading once it officially goes live. The token was initially scheduled to debut in July 2024, but the team recently announced a delay due to technical issues.

Previous Listings and Upcoming Potential on Binance

The Telegram-based game has already secured listings on other crypto exchanges such as KuCoin, Bybit, OKX, and Gate.io.

However, a potential listing on Binance could significantly broaden the token’s exposure, given Binance’s global user base of 200 million. This development comes just a few weeks after the token was listed on CoinMarketCap, a popular crypto-tracking index owned by Binance.

These listings were part of the preparations made by the game developers for the originally planned July launch. The month of July was expected to see the airdrop distribution of the token to users who had made significant contributions to the project.

Plans changed when the project developers released the game’s Whitepaper on July 31, which outlined the project’s roadmap and airdrop distribution plans.

Hamster Kombat’s Rise in Popularity

Hamster Kombat has quickly risen to prominence as one of the most popular blockchain-based games, boasting over 300 million active users. Launched in March of this year, the game has rapidly gained a devoted following.

In Hamster Kombat, players can earn the in-game currency, HMSTR, by engaging in activities like tapping and managing a fictional cryptocurrency exchange. The game offers various features, including upgrading hamster characters, completing daily challenges, and undertaking special missions to win rewards.

Additionally, Hamster Kombat provides educational content on blockchain and cryptocurrencies, making it not only entertaining but also informative for players.

As the game prepares for its upcoming airdrop and token launch, it encourages players to participate in daily tasks such as the Daily Cipher and Daily Combo, which offer in-game rewards.
