Crypto.com is looking to ensure recognition in the crypto space and outside of it, by pumping $100 million into advertising efforts.

Crypto.com is looking to capitalize on the recent crypto marketplace surge by splashing $100 million on a global ad campaign. According to a company spokesperson, the ad campaign covers more than 20 countries and will run for several months. Furthermore, the ad stars Hollywood veteran actor Matt Damon, and features Oscar-winning cinematographer Wally Pfister as the director.

Crypto.com said that the “Fortune Favors the Brave” ad also features a digital landscape of historical figures – including the Wright brothers and Sir Edmund Hillary. Furthermore, the world’s fastest-growing crypto platform also explained that its $100-million ad will reach a global audience. This notably considers potential crypto users and investors, who will view the ad on billboards and TV around the world. In addition, Crypto.com’s portfolio of partnerships and major sports franchises and organizations will also incorporate the ad’s essence. This endeavor was released in an announcement this week, following the leading crypto platform’s $1 million donation to Water.org, a clean water initiative co-founded by Damon and Gary White back in 2009.

According to Damon, Crypto.com shares his commitment to providing people across the globe with the requisite tools for empowerment. Furthermore, the Crypto.com global ad announcement also comes less than two months after crypto derivatives exchange FTX launched its own ad campaign. That initiative cost the platform about $20 million, took place in the US, and featured married couple Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen. While Brady is a well-known American football player, Bündchen is a mainstay on prominent fashion show runways.

Planned Crypto.com Ad Campaign: Increasing Crypto-Entertainment Partnerships

Following a relatively quiet summer, the crypto marketplace got fresh momentum when the US began permitting Bitcoin ETFs. The SEC greenlit the launching of the first-ever BTC futures ETF in the US with the Proshares Bitcoin Strategy ETF. Expectedly, several more ETFs will follow, with the regulatory agency currently reviewing a substantial number of filings. Crypto.com will be looking to capture this momentum with its aggressive campaign. The firm hopes to establish its brand in the minds of a wider mainstream audience.

Crypto.com’s marriage with Damon could prove to be a potential game-changer for the crypto exchange platform. Damon is a winner of the prestigious Academy Award (also known as Oscar) and two Golden Globes. Furthermore, Damon is arguably one of the most high-profile entertainment celebrities to get behind a crypto exchange platform.

The relationship might prove beneficial as celebrities could sway crypto owners. In a recent Morning Consult survey, 45% of the 2,200 American respondents said they might invest in a digital asset if it had the backing of a celebrity. Meanwhile, singer Mariah Carey also revealed on October 19th, a partnership deal between her and crypto exchange Gemini to boost BTC adoption.

Crypto.com, founded in 2016, started out offering crypto-based Visa cards with rewards for staking its native coin (CRO). The platform quickly evolved into one of the fastest-growing outfits in the digital asset space.
