IOST Foundation said they are proud to be an enabler of business opportunities for motivated entrepreneurs through this partnership with Boomstarter and are excited to play the part in helping Russian entrepreneurs fulfill their aspirations.

The IOST Foundation announced they finally completed integration with Boomstarter, a crowdfunding platform that has successfully raised over $7.5 million for approx. 2,000 projects from close to 190,000 backers for creators, makers and developers in Eastern Europe.

Boomstarter.Network has been operating in crowdfunding space since 2012. The fintech company now aims to use cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology to go global.

IOST is a public blockchain network backed by over 250 investors including Sequoia Capital, Huobi Capital and Node Capital. IOST uses its own consensus method called “proof of believability” and a sharding mechanims to enable fast throughput of thousands of transactions per second. At the same time, it doesn’t place any limit on the number of nodes participating in block production.

Its CEO Jimmy Zhong and his team have been investing their efforts into projects that will facilitate mainstream adoption, including a recent partnership with Amazon Web Services to provide “blockchain as a service” so that developers may launch blockchain services in 5 minutes.

Other examples of partnerships and projects include the world’s First Online IDE Supporting Libra — developed by IOST’s partner node. Dubbed ChainIDE, it supports not only gaming and DeFi DApps, but function as a bridge between IOST and Libra, where DApps transformation is attainable in one click.

Also, along with Hashed Venture Labs, IOST is partnering with Enterprise Singapore to support the growth of the Singaporean blockchain ecosystem and educate multinational corporations and SMEs to unlock the value of blockchain. There is also a partnership with Ehang, China-based autonomous vehicle company that provides flight data analytics to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (the NASA of China).

From the company, they said they hope that this partnership with Boomstarter will provide cryptocurrency channels for international backers to support indie creators, makers and developers by accepting crowdfunds in IOST. Currently, Boomstarter accepts payment in BTC, ETH and IOST.

Boomstarter is also in the process of integrating the iUSD, the stablecoin in the IOST ecosystem, which will provide greater stability of value for its rapidly growing portfolio of entrepreneurs.

They added they are excited at this practical application of $IOST and has a vision of a win-win partnership with Boomstarter. They said:

“By letting creators, makers and developers raise funding using $IOST, these entrepreneurs receive an opportunity to access global international communities to launch the business of their dreams, while at the same time, the IOST community benefit from increased utility of the IOST token.”

In addition to that, the IOST Foundation is proud to be an enabler of business opportunities for motivated entrepreneurs through this partnership with Boomstarter, and is excited to play the part in helping Russian entrepreneurs fulfill their aspirations.

Boomstarter, as a leading crowdfunding platform in Russia, plays an integral role in making this happen by bringing greater awareness and penetration of IOST with its large user base of creators, makers, and developers.

The Foundation also announced that Boomstarter will join their ecosystem as an IOST Partner Node. The Foundation will collaborate closely with Boomstarter to grow IOST penetration in Russia, a country with over 144 million population size. They said:

“We believe this exciting partnership will deliver significant value to the global IOST community and be an exceptional value boost to the IOST ecosystem.”
