Maggi Launches Digital Collectibles in OneRare Foodverse

The co-founder of OneRare expressed his company’s thrill at partnering with Maggi.

International seasoning brand, Maggi, is set to launch its first-ever digital collectible in the OneRare Foodverse. Maggi couldn’t have chosen a better time to launch. After a turbulent 2022, NFTs have started to bounce back in 2023.

According to the press release, Maggi will launch recipes made with Maggi Noodles, Masala-ae-Magic, and MAGGI Hot & Sweet, as Digital Collectibles that are usable in the Foodverse.

The Foodverse, which is designed to bring the Global F&B Industry to the blockchain, allows companies like Maggi to create virtual food experiences for a global audience. Co-founder of OneRare.Gaurav Gupta believes the platform is unique and allows end users to explore various kinds of food.

According to the head of the Foods Business in Nestle India, Rajat Jain, the team is proud to be launching its first-ever NFT with OneRare. Jain said:

“We bring to people an immersive cooking experience, designed to bring alive the pleasure that people derive from the process of cooking, without any physical cooking involved.”

Speaking about the partnership, the co-founder of OneRare Supreet Raju expressed his company’s thrill at partnering with Maggi. Rahju said:

“This groundbreaking move demonstrates the potential of blockchain technology in transforming the F&B industry.”

Giant Strides by OneRare Foodverse

Since introducing the first full-service food metaverse in November 2021 in India, OneRare has launched in other countries, including the United States and UAE. It has also been partnering with different companies in the F&B industry.

Already, it has partnered with Cali Poke, Farzi Cafe, Foodlink UAE, Papa John’s, and The Bhukkad Cafe among others. More recently, OneRare Foodverse partnered with the largest Food & Beverage service Company in India, IndiaFoodlink. Through the partnership, OneRare will launch four NFTs for its restaurants.

It is clear that OneRare has a unique offering that many in the F&B industry are buying into. The firm is also creating an opportunity for food businesses to leverage blockchain technology to reach newer audiences.

In the foreseeable future, OneRare cofounder, Raju, believes that it will be possible for users to swap NFTs for physical meals, bridging the phydigital gap. The firm also plans to raise funds to combat world hunger.
