Currently, the wallet is available in the alpha version of the Telegram messenger for iOS and functions in the TON testnet. According to the developers, its design is still in progress, and after everything is finished, the wallet will be available in the mainnet as well.
Meanwhile, the date of the launch on the mainnet is unknown. Developer team has neither made any official announcement nor provided any comments yet. The elements of the Telegram alpha versions go into beta and release at different speeds, and it’s difficult to say anything exactly right now. We can just guess that the deadline for launching the TON mainnet is by the end of October.

Telegram is a cloud-based instant messaging and voice over IP service developed by Telegram Messenger LLP, a privately held company registered in London, United Kingdom. In August, Telegram announced the public testing of its long-awaited blockchain TON (the Telegram Open Network) and promised to launch a working blockchain network by October 31, 2019. In case the company fails to do that, investors will get their money back.
The last preparation for TON is already taking place. As we have reported, Telegram delivered its Telegram Open Network testnet explorer and node software on its website. The alpha version of the wallet for Gram is also a part of this preparation. One week before the final launch, users will be informed about the mandatory character of the update to continue working.
