Venture into the Hedera Africa Hackathon 2025, running from August 1 to September 30, powered by the Hashgraph Association and Exponential Science Foundation. This acceleration program combines over 20 in-person hackathons across African hubs like Lagos, Cairo, Nairobi, Cape Town, Kinshasa, Casablanca, and Tunis. Its fully virtual track is designed to engage over 10,000 developers, students, and entrepreneurs from 15+ countries.
Innovators will collaborate across four transformative tracks:
- On‑Chain Finance & RWA Tokenization;
- ESG Sustainability & Traceability;
- Self‑Sovereign Identity & AI;
- Gaming, Metaverse & NFTs.
A comprehensive prize pool exceeding $1 million awaits top teams, supported by training from Hedera-certified engineers, hack stations in major African tech cities, mentorship, and robust backing from 50+ global and regional partners and over 100 universities/tech hubs . Open to all skill levels—no prior blockchain experience required—the hackathon aims to catalyze real-world Web3 innovation for economic inclusion, powered by AI, IoT, robotics, and quantum computing
