The goal of the new partnership is to increase the usage of Viberate’s tokens by simplifying the complex process of acquiring virtual currencies.

Viberate, the blockchain-based platform for the live music industry, has teamed up with the cryptocurrency exchange service Changelly to facilitate wider adoption of its VIB tokens. Under the deal, Changelly will be integrated into Viberate.io, allowing its users to quickly and easily buy VIB tokens with a credit card.

“We are happy that crypto industry becomes more tightly integrated with music,” said the CEO of Changelly, Konstantin Gladych. “Changelly will provide thousands of customers with VIB tokens they can use for interaction with the Viberate platform. With our built-in widget, Changelly will enable everyone to seamlessly invest into the live music industry with cryptocurrency.”

Changelly is a reliable exchange system that offers instant conversion of more than 90 altcoins at the best market rates. Since its launch in 2015, the platform has attracted more than 1.5 million customers, now processing over 60,000 BTC each month.

Unlike other cryptocurrency exchanges, Changelly allows users to buy tokens using Visa and Mastercard. Additionally, it has no amount limits and lets users exchange large sums of money. By using two-factor authentications and a HTTPS security protocol, the exchange can guarantee an advanced layer of security.

“After our successful ICO I spent hours explaining how to buy our token to friends and family, who heard about Bitcoin just recently and have no idea what a token is,” said Viberate’s co-founder, Vasja Veber, explaining why the platform’s launch is important for those who are only planning to start using digital currencies.

“Before Changelly they needed to open an account at a major exchange, wait to get verified, wire fiat, wait for it to be credited, buy ether or bitcoin, move it to an exchange that lists our token and then they finally got their hands on some VIBs. Now, they only need to get an Ethereum wallet, which takes a few seconds and then buy VIB tokens with their credit card. It’s easier than buying a plane ticket,” he added.

“Implementation of Changelly is extremely important for us, because we are building a music talent marketplace, where musicians will get paid in cryptocurrencies and to achieve enough liquidity, a massive adoption of crypto coins and tokens is paramount. We don’t expect event organizers to go through too much of a hassle to get coins and with Changelly they won’t have to. We will simply integrate their widget into every profile, so in the end the whole user experience will not be much different from buying stuff on Amazon,” Veber noted.

Those who don’t have a credit card or an account on Changelly will also be able to purchase VIB tokens thanks to a Viberate rewarding system. Under the program, 5000 tokens will be distributed daily among database contributors and users that are promoting the service.

Last month, Viberate signed an endorsement deal with a two-time Grammy award winner Imogen Heap who will help to develop and promote the project. Imogen, who is known for her interest in the blockchain technology, will act as a celebrity ambassador of Viberate.

The VIB token is already available on several exchanges, including Bittrex, Upbit, Hitbtc, Binance, and Etherdelta.

Viberate wants to transform the world music industry, connecting musicians with booking agencies and event organizers via a blockchain marketplace. It already features more than 150,000 artists, 2000 booking agencies, and 500,000 events.

Viberate is also officially one of the most successful cryptocurrency projects to date, as it managed to raise more than $10 million in less than five minutes since the start of its crowdsale.
