NEO Blockchain Moscow. The first visit of NEO to Russia

NEO project was founded in 2014 and gained its prominence at the end of 2015 after the ICO. The project raised about $28 million.

Today it is a blockchain project with an active community of developers around the world which uses blockchain and digital ID to digitize assets and automate their management using smart contracts. The main goal of the project is to create “smart economy”, a new model of economic relations between people, by using a distributed network.

NEO identifies three main components: a platform for the execution of smart contracts, digital assets and digital identification.

The main speakers of the event will be: Johnson Zhao, CEO of Neo Global Development. Peter Lin, one of the first developers at NEO, now the director of R&D development, and Ilya Terekhin, the lead developer at Streamity, who developed a smart contract on NEO blockchain for StreamDesk platform.

The speakers will talk about the general vision of the ecosystem, the technical development of NEO project which is expected in the future, NEO platform’s vision of Smart Economy, how NEO differs from Ethereum, what opportunities and what difficulties developers may face while developing applications on the basis of NEO blockchain.
