Every so often, thought leaders and developers from various blockchain projects come together at conferences to share ideas and build relationships. CEDEX was fortunate enough to participate in one such conference recently called the Blockchain Economic Forum (BEF) 2018, held in Singapore. The goal of the conference was to bridge the gap between blockchain and the traditional economy, aligning development goals with the greater benefit of society.
BEF was an incredible event, with brilliant and passionate speakers sharing their insights on where the field is headed in the coming years. There were cross-disciplinary panels on interesting topics including the genetics of the blockchain evolution, world model, AI, VR, molecular biology of DNA biohacking, and much more.
Attendees of the event included entrepreneurs, investors, journalists, and bloggers. The CEDEX team met with many attendees, spreading awareness about the project and fostering new relationships. As the event was wrapping up, awards were given out to some of the outstanding projects. To be given recognition with so many other outstanding projects and speakers at the conference was special.
