Coinplug

Founded in June of 2013, Coinplug is a South Korea-based Bitcoin company which provides a Bitcoin exchange and wallet services, okBitcard (bitcoin gift card ), 2-way ATM and payment processor targeting domestic and broader Asian markets.

The company’s investors include SBI Asset Management and Tim Draper. Coinplug has also partnered with KB Kookmin – one of the country’s largest banks – on various blockchain-based projects such as remittances and personal identification systems.

As for August 2018 Coinplug is the World’s 2nd and Korea’s 1st Blockchain patent holder boasting  203 patents including 121 domestic and 82 international ones.
