Inking one of its biggest deals in history, Salesforce announced the acquisition of Slack for a massive $27 billion in a combination of stock and cash options. Salesforces said it will deeply integrate Slack as part of Salesforce Cloud and the Salesforce Customer 360 interface.
The latest report from Morgan Stanley notes that Slack hasn’t seen the sort of business acceleration it had expected during the start of the pandemic. Most of its customers are opting for big players in the market.
Slack Technologies (WORK) is up today after a loss of 6.08% yesterday. The company has announced its news tech package called Slack Connect, which enhances its real time-communication across up to 20 clients.
