TikTok live music event will feature a number of celebrities. Among them are Cardi B, Niall Horan, Anitta, and Charlie Puth, all of whom have millions of followers on the platform.

ByteDance‘s video-sharing social media platform TikTok will host its first-ever live global music event. Dubbed “TikTok In The Mix”, the event will take place at Sloan Park, Mesa, Arizona on December 10. To distribute the tickets, TikTok partnered with Tickets.com – a leading provider of fully integrated event ticketing solutions and services.

Starting on October 27, tickets will be available for presale through TikTok’s new website, TikTokInTheMix.com. Starting on November 2, the general sale will commence. A certain portion of the tickets will be donated to a charity partner which is yet to be confirmed. The price range is from $25 to $60.

There is no age limit for entering the concert, but those under 18 will have to be accompanied by an adult.

The event will be streamed live on the TikTok app. In addition, TikTok will bring the For You feed to life at In The Mix through a range of activities inspired by the community’s favorite trends.

Paul Hourican, TikTok’s global head of music partnerships and programming, commented:

“No other platform mixes music, creativity, and community like TikTok. With In The Mix, our goal is to bring the For You feed to life for fans at the venue and on TikTok. Our vision is to create a show that is reimagined for the TikTok era and our music-loving global community.”

TikTok live music event will feature a number of celebrities. Among them are Cardi B, Niall Horan, Anitta, and Charlie Puth, all of whom have millions of followers on the platform. Up-and-coming stars Isabel LaRosa, Kaliii, LU KALA, and Sam Barber from the TikTok Elevate emerging artist program will participate as well.

Cardi B who has over 23.6 million followers on TikTok said:

“I love TikTok because it allows me to truly connect with the greatest fans in the world on a real level. I can’t wait to see y’all in person at TikTok in the Mix. Arizona, get ready to party with me!”

The event marks a significant milestone for TikTok which has become the new home of music discovery. Every day, more than 1 billion TikTok visitors across the world connect with their favorite artists and creators.

Notably, it is not the first time TikTok has tried to launch ticketing capabilities. Back in 2019, TikTok tested a program called “TikTok Tickets” that was only available in Thailand. Within the program, TikTok sold tickets for 500 films and concerts.

In 2022, TikTok also partnered with Ticketmaster to introduce the “Ticketmaster Mini-App” that enabled TikTok users to discover, engage, and connect with Ticketmaster events, making the process of purchasing tickets easier and faster. Demi Lovato, One Republic, Usher, the Backstreet Boys, and WWE were among the first ones to sign on.
