Bitcasino has joined forces with crypto charity ‘The Giving Block’ to support a virtual relief benefit concert which is raising funds for those adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The crypto community marked the 2020 Giving Tuesday Now global giving event in style, with industry leaders like BTC gaming brand Bitcasino coming alongside with cryptocurrency aid organization The Giving Block to organize the “Donate, Dance, Decentralize” D3 virtual concert to ensure support for non-profits on the front lines of the battle against the coronavirus.

Bitcasino agreed to chip in with sponsorship funds that are allocated to locate the performers at such short notice, on the condition that leftover monies be granted to the charities. In addition, as official sponsors of English football club Watford FC, the crypto casino also promised a free Watford FC BTC jersey to 100 donors who have at least $50 on the May 5th event.

This itself was only the final event that Bitcasino made possible related  COVID-19 fundraising, itself already running its own aid campaign for three weeks in the ‘Crypto vs COVID-19’ event. Here players had an opportunity to donate loyalty rewards. By early May, Bitcasino looks set to match all donated loyalty points. It may assist to hit Bitcoin Tuesday’s #cryptoCOVID19’s milestone of $100,000.

The four-hour charity concert was streamed live over Twitch TV, allowing any user to watch some of the latest in electronic dance music, courtesy of American performers illGates, Kill Paris, 3LAU and RAC, who gave international viewers a sight and sound treat.

Alongside the performance, users could donate in a wide range of crypto like Bitcoin, Ether and Litecoin, to any number of charities they wanted, such as Hope for Haiti, Mona Foundation, Trees for the Future and Children’s Heart Unit Fund.

The director also added that the company’s participation in the event reflected its mission statement to always be a “fun, fast and fair crypto company”, using an enjoyable social activity to still bring more generosity to the world at large.

Bitcasino is a regular supporter of charitable causes, and feels obliged to show solidarity for global causes as a representative of the cryptocurrency world. It hopes, in the spirit of Giving Tuesday Now, to incite others in the crypto industry to also contribute to worthy causes.
