KnCMiner, the digital currency mining company, announced that they reached $2 million milestone after starting sale of the mining rig Titan. It had been on sale for 4 hours before they reached a new record.

The rig costs $9,995. It delivers a minimum of 100MH/s and shows resemblance with a PC. It can also mine alternative digital currencies as Dogecoin, Litecoin, and Feathercoin. The high price is explained by the rareness of alternative coins usage

“We are overwhelmed by the positive response we have gotten and we will continue to produce the best possible mining hardware for our customers,” said Andreas Kennemar, co-founder of KnC.

By the way, KnCMiner’s Jupiter, which coasted $5000, was sold at once. Titan has a little bit different specs and price, but at the same time, using this devise you can open a world of alt coins. And alt coins have a potential to be as powerful as Bitcoin.

The miners works using an off-the-shelf ATX power supply, which is supplied by customers. It is explained by the fact that shipping power supplies raises customs issues for the company and, in crypto currencies, every minute counts.

The company plans to start shipping in the second or the third quarter of the current year, but you already can make a pre-order.
