nOS, a service provider that delivers virtual operating systems, has recently collaborated with ARK to leverage its customized blockchain solutions.

ARK, the blockchain platform that provides users, developers, and startups with innovative technologies, is proud to announce its recent collaboration with virtual market solution, nOS. The nOS service provider delivers virtual operating systems, including a decentralized app (dApp) store and a platform for the implementation of high-input business solutions. Delivering such products and services requires the underlying technology, which would be scalable, trusted and of high security level, and ARK.io represents itself a platform that can provide exactly what is needed.

Before making the decision of collaborating with ARK, nOS was leveraging a NEO-issued NEP-5 smart contract token. With the recent launch of the ARK Deployer, which offers projects and applications an opportunity to use their own customized ARK-based blockchain, ARK has proved its status of a leading blockchain technology provider. So, it can offer nOS a complex capabilities, such as scalability, speed, flexibility and, above all, security.

nOS is targeted at solving the issues related to scalability, speed and the restrictive nature of smart contracts, which continue facing the industry. This intention became a crucial point for the provider to choose ARK platform for further collaboration. As the ARK blockchain foundation can be customized to meet application’s exact requirements easily, this feature will support the growth of the nOS operating system once it rolls out its own public testnet by September.

According to ARK Chairman, Matthew Cox, a growing number of projects are currently turning to the adoption of flexible blockchain solutions in a bid to reach their goals and objectives. He also expressed his pride and excitement in building such breakthrough project as nOS on ARK platform, underlying that this can help in overcoming such old challenges of scalability, speed and smart contracts, which still remain to be stumbling blocks for blockchain projects:

“We’re now actively working with a number of projects in varying stages of development through our Powered by ARK program and are seeing a mix of interest from parties both creating new ARK Bridgechains as well as those looking to migrate from other technologies. We are thrilled that a project as innovative as nOS found ARK to be the best solution for building their blockchain.”

Dean van Dugteren, founder of nOS, could not have agreed more. He said that the nOS evolution meant that it was critical for them to identify a framework flexible enough to retain accepted concepts like consensus logic and state management:

“After much research and experimentation, we found ARK to be the perfect solution for nOS. It’s written entirely in Typescript, it’s modular, comes with a DPOS consensus model, and the project is very actively maintained by a smart, passionate, and supportive team. ”

Dean van Dugteren also points out the inherent benefits of working with ARK, not least its ease of use in building blockchains, programming unique transaction types, wallet logic and storage:

“It’s essentially as easy as building a centralized app. Those are just a handful of the many reasons why we’re excited to build on ARK and work with the ARK team.”

The porting of nOS blockchain on to ARK’s blockchain technology seems to be a promising start for much more improvements to come. The growth of nOS operating system will also open up more avenues to upcoming ARK Marketplace thanks to nOS’s unique and ideal take on implementable business models and a dApp store on the blockchain.

The ARK and nOS announcement heralds the era of blockchain services harnessing flexible blockchain technology.
