Thomas Gottstein is a swiss banker, Swede born in 1964, and is the current Chief Executive Officer of Credit Suisse. Gottstein was employed at Credit Suisse in 1999 and took over as CEO on 14th February 2020, from Tijdane Thiam who had been CEO since 2015. Gottstein bagged his degree in business administration in 1989 and then went on to have his doctorate in finance and accounting in 1995, from the University of Zurich.
