American multinational technology company Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL) has unveiled a new set of products at its just-concluded hardware event on Monday. Amongst the new products introduced include new AirPods, MacBook Pros, HomePod Minis, and new processors amongst others. This is the second event that the Cupertino-based company will be announcing new products this fall, and has made an advanced retouch across all of its flagship products.

Here are the details of the new products announced by Apple.

MacBook Pro, One of Apple Flagship Products

Apple has been working on a revamp on its MacBook Pro laptops for about two years now, and the final product has now been introduced. The laptop comes in two sizes including the 14-inch, and 16-inch models respectively. While the former is priced at $1,999, the latter can be acquired for $2,499. The Pre-orders for both systems are now underway, and shipping commences next week.

There is obviously a more big deal to the MacBook Pro laptops as they are built with Apple’s own designed M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. By virtue of these chips, the company noted that these laptops are way faster than the other systems that are powered by AMD or Intel chips.

The laptop comes with an HDMI port through which it can connect with TVs, Projectors, and other external hardware. There is also an SD Card slot for photographers or designers.  While it is possible to charge the laptops using normal USB-C ports, Apple has re-introduced the MagSafe magnetic connector feature in older laptops, enabling contactless charging.

The MacBook sizes come with denser screens as well as ProMotion screens that brandish a higher refresh rate. These are some of the distinguishing features that were released with the iPhone 13 earlier this fall. Apple said the 14-inch model can display video for 14 hours, while the bigger 16-inch model can run for 21 hours. The charging capacity is enhanced and could top 50% in 30 minutes of charging.

New Apple Airpods

Apple also announced its third-generation AirPods with advanced functionalities. The great accolade in hardware and wearables designs was further brought to life in the new AirPods which supports spatial audio. The new AirPods is more related to the AirPods Pro in design but comes without the rubber in-ear tip, and it is designed to charge magnetically using the same MagSafe technology in the MacBook Pro laptops.

The AirPods have stronger battery life and can be used for listening to audio for 6 hours, and cost about $179. The products will be available for pickup in stores from next week.

Apple HomePod Mini and Other Products/Services

Another prominent product that was announced was the HomePod Mini speakers that now come in new colors including orange, yellow and blue. The speakers cost $99.

The Apple M1 Pro and M1 Max chips are built for efficiency, and the former is noted to have a 10-core CPU that makes it more than 70% faster than the current M1 Chip. The M1 Max is more powerful than the M1 and the M1 Pro chips as it comes with 57 billion transistors, and a 32-core graphics processor. All of the new Apple Chips come with better energy efficiency.

One other notable feature Apple announced was its $4.99 monthly ‘Voice Plan’ for Apple Music. The Voice plan has a few limitations compared with the individual plans, in that it can only be accessed via Siri, and lacks spatial audio and other premium features, however, it is budget-friendly.
