According to Forbes, augmented reality technology will reach its peak around the world within the next 5-10 years, and it will be as commonplace as using Wi-Fi or mobile communications are for us right now. With this in mind, investing in the leaders in the AR field is now considered extremely promising, and funds are being invested from the crypto-community, IT companies as well as companies from the real sector of the economy.

ARROUND.io has proved that even in a falling market, investors are still interested in exciting projects. As the token sale draws to a close, the project has already collected more than 25,000,000 dollars! Of this, 2,000,000 dollars was invested in the project by Asian-Investments, an investment fund operating in the Asia-Pacific region; another 4,000,000 was contributed to ARROUND.io by retail investors, as part of the ongoing ICO project, with RODERY GOLD, one of the world’s largest gold traders, investing $19,000,000 into the project.

The term Augmented Reality (AR) was originally coined by researcher Tom Codel in1990. The name speaks for itself – these are technologies that enhance reality with virtual elements. That is, you pick up your smartphone or tablet, launch the camera and see not just what’s in front of you in the real world, but also additional elements. For example, King Kong, sitting on top of a skyscraper drinking a Coke, or a Pokémon hiding behind a car, or maybe a truck parked right on a square in the center of the city. Augmented reality is a unique technology that allows you to add virtual objects, sounds, and images to the real world. In addition, it’s also interactive – you can influence and play with the virtual objects, take photos with them to post on Instagram and much more.

This is the principle behind the ARROUND mobile app, an MVP that’s already available for download at the App Store and Google Play. The creators of ARROUND.io are applying the technology of augmented reality to advertising, as AR is the single most powerful tool for creating a “WOW effect.” ARROUND has already launched a campaign for the Scania brand under the slogan “Look ARround.” ARROUND.io, has “parked” virtual Scania trucks in central locations around the world: in Beijing, Prague, Moscow, Washington, Ottawa, Berlin and other cities. The company is also developing advertising campaigns with a number of other global business giants:

  • Unilever – the world leader in the market of food and household goods.
  • Carmex – the world’s number one lip balm.
  • Magnum – one of the most popular ice-cream brands in the world.
  • TRESemmé – the world leader in hair care products, founded in the USA in 1947.
  • Campari – the Italian producer of market-leading wines, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Today, AR is being heavily invested in by Apple, Google, HTC, and Facebook, as well as by private and institutional investors around the world. Everyone still has the opportunity to become an investor in ARROUND – the project’s ICO will continue until November 15, 2018 on the arround.io website. The price of one token right now is $0.035, and 3,000,000,000 ARR tokens are available during the sale.
