One of Japan’s largest blockchain conferences, Japan Blockchain Conference, starts today engaging the top blockchain world’s celebrities as guest speakers.

Blockchain influencer platform PATRON is pleased to announce the participation of several key industry figures at this year’s Japan Blockchain Conference, a two-day event which officially starts today, June 26, 2018, at the Tokyo International Forum.

The Japan Blockchain Conference 2018 will see the convening of top blockchain-based businesses, corporations and organizations, all coming together to help develop and grow awareness of the emerging technology, while fostering new cooperation between Japanese companies and international ones and encouraging the transfer of knowledge.

As guest speakers, the attendance confirmed such influential personalities as David J Namdar, Sam Cassat, Roger Ver and others.

David J Namdar is the Founding Partner and Head of Digital Assets of Galaxy Digital, a full service, digital assets merchant bank. With a degree in finance and international business from USC Marshall School of Business, David brings with him over ten years of international experience in these two fields. Before founding Galaxy Digital, he worked with a range of startups and multinational corporations.

Formerly, David was at Millennium Management, where he headed trader and tech analysis for an equity relative value portfolio team. A Chartered Financial Analyst, he has significant knowledge in digital currency, blockchain tech and the emerging decentralized economy. He founded the startup SolidX Partners, which aims to institutionalize digital assets as an alternative asset class.

Roger Ver is the Founder of Bitcoin.com, a company that provides Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash services. Roger’s association with Bitcoin began in February 2011 after his successful founding of several Silicon Valley startups.

Seeing the potential for Bitcoin, he is currently credited for being the very first to fund an entire generation of Bitcoin business pioneers, long before traditional venture capitalists entered the market.  Except from Bitcoin.com, Ver’s achievements include Blockchain.com, Bitpay.com, Kraken.com and lots more.

Sam Cassatt is Chief Strategy Officer in ConsenSys, a global formation of technologists and entrepreneurs building the infrastructure, applications, and practices that enable a decentralized world. An expert in venture capital, software development methodology, growth strategy and enterprise architecture, Sam helps companies strategize business models in the emerging blockchain economy.

Formerly the CTO of mobile identity firm Atmospheir and an Engineers Without Borders volunteer in South Africa, Sam now resides in Brooklyn, advising several tech companies and is an investment committee member at Venture One.

Among other speakers, there are twenty four more blockchain’s top dogs, such as Yoshitaka Kitao, Travis Kling, Vitaly Dubnin, Yagub Rahimo, Charles Hoskinson and others.

The event is one of Japan’s largest blockchain conferences organized by the General Incorporated Association Global Blockchain Council. It starts from today, June 26, and will last for two days.
