Microsoft Azure is a cloud computing service for building, deploying, and managing applications and services through a global network of Microsoft-managed data centers. It provides software as a service, platform as a service and infrastructure as a service and supports many different programming languages, tools and frameworks, including both Microsoft-specific and third-party software and systems.

Built on the flexible and innovative Azure cloud platform, Azure IoT Suite is an enterprise-grade solution that enables companies to get started quickly through a set of extensible preconfigured solutions. These solutions address common IoT scenarios, such as remote monitoring, predictive maintenance, and connected factory.  The preconfigured solutions are complete, working, end-to-end solutions that include: 1) simulated devices to get you started; 2) Preconfigured Azure services such as Azure IoT Hub, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure storage; 3) Solution-specific management consoles.
