Narrative-based web3 platform Cyber Manufacture Co. has successfully completed a $6 pre-series A funding round led by Synergis and Collab+Currency.

Funds raised will be used to drive Cyber manufacture’s GAMA next-gen non-fungible token (NFT) project and the upcoming NFT drop. This funding round was driven by investors like A&T Capital, Shima Capital, Sfermion, Artist Capital, Lattice Capital, FutureMoney Advisory and Vera Li. The pre-Series A round follows the successful seeding round led by A@T Capital in May.

Derek Edwards, Partner at leading NFT and Web3 VC fund Collab+Currency, says:

“GAMA sits neatly at the intersection of storytelling, gaming, community-ownership, and digital identity. Starting with the first crew launch this December to help seed the project’s universe, the future of GAMA will be powered by rich narrative storytelling, Web3 gaming, and an emergent, community-powered social experience. We are thrilled to support Cyber Manufacturing Co. in building out this future, alongside Synergis and an excellent team of NFT and Web3 investors.”

Cyber Manufacture Co., the platform responsible for the GAMA NFT project is looking to upgrade the “human experience of art, fashion, & technology by uniting the physical & digital world.”

GAMA has an NFT drop scheduled for December 1 2021. It will run up to February 23 of 2022 and will include NFTs of the GAMA team including Captains, Cooks, Engineers, Mechanics and Security personnel, a total of roughly 10,000 crew members. The Cyber Manufacture funding will go a long way in ensuring the smooth running of this project.

Since the beginning of the year, NFTs have been more than just a buzzword in the cryptoverse. With sales amounting to tens of millions of dollars, Non-Fungible tokens have revolutionalized the way we view ownership of digital assets. Two popular NFTs this year have been:

  • Crypto Barista. This is the world’s first NFT funded café.

In the first season of Crypto Barista, there are 60 NFT characters whose owners will help shape the cafe, the first of its kind. Some benefits NFT owners will enjoy include unlimited coffee at all future locations and websites. In addition to that, they will also have control over the “Barista Bank”, a fund created from 15% of the project’s revenue. The fund could potentially be used to aid non-profits in the coffee space or fund Crypto barista projects.

“The goal of Crypto Barista’s is to build a community of like-minded individuals that appreciate art, caffeine, entrepreneurship, and innovation. The project’s ambition is to initially open a physical space in NYC where art and innovation are at the forefront. The future of Crypto Baristas beyond that will be up to the holders and followers of our campaign.”

  • The Moon Boyz is an Ethereum-based project with 11,111 3D NFTs that currently offers perks like private club classes, merch and the Moon Boyz party for members.
