Daymak has built its own crypto infrastructure Nebula along with Nebula wallets to power up the crypto mining process. The Toronto-based company has started accepting pre-order for its Spiritus electric car in digital currencies.
On Tuesday, June 1, Toronto-based Daymak Avvenire announced that its upcoming electric car Spiritus will have the feature to mine crypto assets when parked. This is a classic example of the two emerging industries coming together.
In the announcement, Daymak said that its Spiritus model shall launch two years later in 2023. Besides, the car will feature the company’s indigenous and comprehensive cryptocurrency infrastructure Daymak Nebula. Interestingly, Daymak has also started accepting pre-orders for Spiritus supporting multiple cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Cardano (ADA), and Ethereum (ETH).
This is really a bold move from the Toronto-based electric carmaker. Besides, it comes within a month of Tesla suspending its Bitcoin payments. The world’s largest automobile giant suspended Bitcoin payments within three months after announcing them. Precisely, the reason cited by Tesla was the carbon footprint contributed by the Bitcoin mining activities. Daymak looks to tap into its electric vehicle and crypto infrastructure to solve this issue. Aldo Baiocchi, President of Daymak said:
“The Spiritus car is for those who want more in life, and we are committed to putting our customers ahead of the curve. We envision a future where your highway tolls, your parking, and your drive thru order will be paid directly on the fly with crypto. Your online bills and your banking can be handled through the same software platform paid in crypto. And whereas most vehicles are depreciating while they sit in your garage, the Nebula Miner will make you money while your Spiritus is parked. The potential applications are limitless”.
Electric Vehicle as a Blockchain Node
The announcement also adds that every Spiritus vehicle will have Daymak Nebula Miner and Nebula Wallet. Each of these vehicles will serve as a node on the blockchain.
Powered by the Nebula infrastructure, Daymak’s electric vehicles will serve as environmentally-friendly crypto miner nodes. The Spiritus car will come with industry-standard GPUs to support crypto mining. The Daymak Nebule infrastructure will allow its owners to make money while their car is in parking. This can be during the parking done on top of the Daymak Ondata wireless charging pad, or parking during the trickle-solar charging.
The users can collect all of their profits and store them in Nebula wallets. This wallet will come with a secure integration into the Spiritus interface. The Daymak President added:

The President also added that it will make its crypto infrastructure Nebula available to other electric car players on licensing basis. Daymak is surely heading for a big mission ahead. It will be interesting to see the launch of the first Spiritus vehicle on-road.
