In early 2015, Frank participated in 10.10.10 Health as a Prospective CEO and saw an opportunity: health data lives in silos, and HIPAA regulations, while valuable and necessary, make it extremely hard to combine and share those data sources. And yet, data is becoming increasingly critical to the healthcare industry and to the ecosystem of companies that support it.
BurstIQ was founded later that year with the goal of solving this challenge. The BurstIQ platform leverages blockchain and machine intelligence to enable data from disparate sources to be brought together to create a single, unified data repository, and to be shared quickly and easily while still maintaining strict security standards and HIPAA compliance.
