In July, KINGSHIP converted its 5,000 access-enabled Key Cards into NFTs and sold out the entire collection.

American confectionery manufacturer, Mars Inc, in a recent release, announced that it has launched a Bored Ape Yacht Club collection themed M&M’s. KINGSHIP, the NFT supergroup, has confirmed that it will appear on the boxes to “honor the mythological tour rider that requires backstage items, including M&M’s candies of all colors.”

According to the report, the collectibles were created for the fans of KINGSHIP and M&M’s, and are only available for a limited time.

For now, only 4000 collectible boxes have been created. Also, M&M’s would produce 3,900 exclusive celebratory gift boxes in Brown. In addition, the fans in the US would have at their disposal 6000 gift jars of the Candies for a limited time. The exclusive collaboration was first known by holders of KINGSHIP Key Card NFTs. For this reason, they had the chance for early access to the products on M&M’S website. The band is said to consist of four characters from the Bored-and-Mutant Yacht Club NFT universes with each character expected to have a unique personality.

Jane Hwang, Global Vice President at Mars Wrigley in a comment explained that Mars is fully aware of the demand to be more innovative than ever, as the expectations of consumers from their favorite bands have shifted. According to Wrigley, the collaboration with 10:22PM and KINGSHIP is a huge step in providing its customers with an exciting experience.

Celine Joshua, founder of 10:22PM and the creator of KINGSHIP also believes that this partnership would introduce KINGSHIP and NFT culture to the masses.

“KINGSHIP is a group dedicated to the art of storytelling, so it was a great opportunity for us to both pay homage to rock’n’roll history, and one of the greatest bands of all time, but also create a unique fan experience for those that have joined this community at the start of their journey,” said Celine Joshua.

In July, KINGSHIP converted its 5,000 access-enabled Key Cards into NFTs and sold out the entire collection.

It can be recalled that Coinbase Global Inc (NASDAQ: COIN) announced in April that it had started the production of its animated short film focusing on the Bored Ape franchise. Also, SNICKERS, a brand owned by Mars, started promoting Dogecoin in April. However, the company warned that it was only a “cool gif.”
