On June 30th, we held the Inaugural Meson Day to unveil our new products in the next phase of Meson.
Leo, CTO of Meson Network, showed us it would only take 1min to deploy Meson nodes to devices, and it goes with new features. The new version of Meson improves accessibility with a minimum storage setting of 20GB and compatibility with over 30 major operating systems and platforms, allowing more edge nodes to join Meson’s network. Your Raspberry Pi, IoT devices, routers, cell phones, and Starlink can deploy Meson’s Terminal and join the network. At the same time, Meson is fully compatible with the system’s original program(s), making dual and multiple mining possible.
Furthermore, Meson provides enhanced services in this update for users who are seeking efficient and effective UX. For example, some users want to have the services nodes that are sourced from high-quality data centers, and the bandwidth volume of a single node must also meet specific criteria. For these users, Meson provides Premium Tag to filter some nodes and only uses these nodes to provide services to particular users.
Sherlock, CEO of Meson Network, emphasized on the importance of accessibility to onboard the next million of nodes:
“We believe blockchain should lower the barriers of entry for many things and bring power to more people. The requirements for running a Meson node have never been lower. we want to bring Meson to more people.”
Meson Network is committed to creating an efficient bandwidth marketplace on Web3, using blockchain protocol model to replace the traditional labor-based sales models, consolidating and monetizing idle bandwidth from long-tail users with low cost. Meson is the foundation of data transmission for decentralized storage, computation and the emerging Web3 dapp ecosystem.
