It appears tech giant Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL) is about to launch some new products for 2022 as it does every year. The standard pattern Apple follows is to roll out updates to its minor products, unveil new software and hold its developers conference during the summer, and the company announces new products during fall. In April 2021. The tech giant announced the AirTags, the M1 iPad Pro, the latest Apple TV, and a remodeled M1 iMac. Now, Apple is reportedly releasing a number of new products into the market.
Apple has submitted regulatory filings with the Eurasian Economic Commission, which revealed that the company plans to release a number of new products in 2022. The expected new devices’ identifiers are A2595, A2783, and A2784. The iPad identifiers are A2588, A2589, A2591, A2696, A2757, A2759, A2761, A2766, and A2777. Unusually, filings like this have preceded Apple’s launch of new products. It is required for any brand that wishes to sell in Russia and some other selected countries to submit regulatory filings with the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Apple Plans to Unveil New iPhones, iPads, Mac, and More Products in 2022
According to Bloomberg, Apple is currently working on four new iPhones, including iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. In addition, Apple is also rolling out an updated low-end MacBook Pro, a larger-screened iMac, and a new Mac Pro. There would also be a revamped MacBook Air, and second-generation AirPods Pro. Also, there would be new watches – Series 8, SE, and Rugged and a low-end iPad and new iPad Pro models.
Although most new devices should arrive during the fall, Bloomberg stated that the iMac could come earlier than others. Apple will release the 5G-enabled iPhone SE, a new iPad Air with an A15 chip, and maybe a Mac during Apple’s spring event in March or April. Apple may also use the first event in 2022 to usher in the M1 Pro chip to another Mac. However, the new Mac may not be available until fall, including MacBook Air and a new Mac Pro.
Expectedly, the third-generation iPhone SE will not be different from the current one in the form of design. That means that the incoming phone model will have the same 4.7-inch display lie the existing ones. However, the new version will have some new and unique features such as 5G support. It will also have an A15 Bionic chip like it is in iPhone 13.
The news on the 2022 releases of Apple products is doing almost nothing to the company’s stock which is currently up about 0.12%. In the pre-market, Apple stock is trading at $162.61, having declined more than 6% in the last five days. Additionally, AAPL lost nearly 10% in the past months and is down 8.54% in its year-to-date record.
