Sources revealed the design of Apple’s four iPhone 12 models and completely new iPhone 13 that is expected to be available in 2021.
Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL) stock price rose at the end of the week. This occurred as leaks have revealed the design of the new iPhones. Sources say that the new designs are a deviation from the normal. In Friday, Apple (AAPL) stock was at $331.50 (+2.85%). However, in the pre-market, the stock is 0.32% down.
Sources say that the elite Japanese website Macotakara was able to obtain 3D versions of the four iPhone 12 models. The 2021 designs are different from the expected. This would leave many iPhone users to feel let down. Apple’s iPhone 13 plans could excite them again though.
Apple to Offer Serious iPhones Design Changes
There are differences in opinion concerning the iPhone 13. Another Model obtained by Jon Prosser, the iPhone 13 won’t have USB-C. The device will be a portless one with wireless charging capabilities. A “smart connector” is used for the accessories. Jon also believes that the notch on the iPhone 12 will be reduced. He also believes that the iPhone 12pro models will be equipped with LiDAR sensors.
Concerning the iPhone 12 models, Macotakara has said that the phones won’t be too different from the iPhone 11 series. Of course, under the hood new internal devices will be used. But that’s about it.
Macotakara’s models show that the large display that worked with iPhone X will feature. The Lightning port will also remain. The LiDAR sensor will be used in the iPhone 12 Pro. The LiDAR debuted in the new iPad Pro.
This means that the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max will have their Cameras in a triangular array. The entry-level 5.4-inch iPhone 12 and the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Max will get dual cameras. The iPhone 11 will have a single camera. This is a far cry from fans’ expectations. The entry-level iPhone 13 is set to change that sentiment.
The 2021 model will come with a tiny hole for the front camera. All other sensors will be beneath the phones’ surface. Samsung’s “under panel sensor” technology is responsible for this. A larger display of 5.5 inches from 5.4 will also be introduced. Macotakara has indicated that the lightning port will be replaced by USB-C. The iPhone’s rear end has reserved spaces for up to five Cameras.
Situation May Change
The situation concerning the designs is still extremely fluid. should Macotakara’s insights fall through, iPhone 12 owners will shift their upgrades till next year.
The internal devices of the iPhone will completely change. The largest A series upgrade is occurring. This time with 5G capabilities. 120 Hz Promotion displays may feature. These will come at reduced prices.
As the two Apple insiders go head-to-head it will be interesting to see who gets it right the first time. For a notoriously secretive company, Apple has had to adapt due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Macotakara got the 2016 headphone jack removal right with several other things. Jon Prosser is pretty much spot on this year when it comes to Apple predictions.
