Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL) has started sending media invitations for its annual launch event that will be hosted at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California, on September 7. Analysts are expecting the tech giant to reveal a new line of iPhones, Apple Watch, and AirPods. If so, the company would reveal the new products a week earlier than it usually does at its annual fall event. Notably, the move would allow Apple to add two weeks of iPhone sales to its fiscal fourth quarter, with higher revenue generated.

The company is also working on new Mac and iPad models, but it usually announces its launch at a separate October event.

Apple Launch Event: What to Expect from iPhone 14?

Last month, Apple warned about possible sales issues caused by parts shortages. However, even despite these hurdles in the supply chain, the tech giant is expecting the new iPhone line to sell better than iPhone 13 is currently doing.

What will the iPhone 14 look like? Firstly, it is likely to come in as many as four models. All of them will have an improved camera, a better processor, and a more convenient design. The battery capacity is likely to be increased. Secondly, according to some reports, the iPhone mini will be replaced with a 6.7-inch iPhone Max. Notably, it is expected that all the sizes might change. We might see a 6.1-inch iPhone 14, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max in a new line.

Further, the design itself is likely to be different from iPhone 13. The iPhone 14 non-Pro model could match its predecessor, but the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max might get a punch-hole camera instead of a notch. Speaking of the color options, the biggest rumor is suggesting that both the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro will come in a new purple shade. We might also expect similar other colors, such as blue, white, black, and red for the 14 and gold, graphite and silver for the Pro.

There is no official information on the price of the upcoming iPhone 14 price yet. But since the standard iPhone 13 starts at $799, we might expect the iPhone 14 to start with a similar price.

New Apple Watch, as well as AirPods, are expected to be revealed on September 7 as well. Apple Watch will feature a larger display, Besides, Apple is also working on an “extreme sports” version of the device that will have a metal casing that’s better able to stand up to abuse.

As for the AirPods, the improved version of the wireless earbuds will feature such selling points as a new form factor design, support for Apple Lossless (ALAC) format, and a charging case that can emit a sound for users to track.
