BitMax.io (BTMX.com), an industry-leading digital asset trading platform built by Wall Street quant trading veterans, has announced the listing of Bond Finance’s BOND token under the trading pair of BOND/USDT on December 8th at 10:00 a.m. EST.

Bonded Finance is a smart contract-driven lending platform with a unique risk restructuring mechanism that allows for selected altcoins to be used as investment-grade lending assets or collateral instruments. Bonded’s algorithmic model intends to unlock, aggregate, and de-risk approximately $50 billion in untapped digital assets.

The platform takes aim at a key inefficiency in cryptocurrency market: billions of dollars in underserved capital spread across hundreds of exchanges and thousands of tokens. Bonded offers a means to consolidate this fragmented value in a mutually beneficial way for projects and token holders — give users access to capital, residual earning capabilities, and a wider range of de-risked investment opportunities for tokens with traditionally less liquidity while augmenting the value proposition of participating projects.

BOND is a hybrid governance and staking rewards token utilized across the Bonded network of products, where users can earn fees and tokens via the liquidity and staking protocols. In course, the Bond token will be used to further secure collateral and incentivize activity on the network. Within the lending framework, it can mitigate interest costs, support underlying assets, collectively represent pooled assets and help enhancing returns. The token utility will evolve to become a robust, inherent part of the network before it transitions to a governance mechanism presided over by stakeholders and an active community.

The Bonded platform will initially support four core financial products. The first product Ionic Lending are planned to launch before the end of January 2021, followed shortly thereafter by the Bonded Index with Bonded’s Line of Credit Index and synthetic bETH going live by the end of Q1’21.
