Coca-Cola as the leading world beverage brand will be entering the NFT domain by creating a special collection of non-fungible tokens to celebrate International friendship day. The NFTs will be available for an auction on the NFT marketplace called OpenSea from July 31st to 2nd August.
The proceeds collected with the help of this auction will be sent to Special Olympics International that is closely associated with helping children and adults combatting various body disabilities.
Coca-Cola Is Set to Build an NFT Collection Together with Digital Creator Tafi
Coca-Cola will be offering these special NFTs in a three-day OpenSea Marketplace auction. The NFTs will be created via a partnership with digital designer Tafi, who is developing video game-inspired “loot boxes.” The boxes will contain hidden surprises in the form of wearables and digitally customized assets.
Furthermore, Coca-Cola will also be presenting “friendship boxes”, which will consist of exciting digital merchandise such as a wearable bubble jacket, a coca-cola cooler, a friendship card as well as a sound visualizer which is developed to play different audios comprising the sound of a bottle opening, the fizz, and pop of a bottle and related sounds which are often associated with carbonated beverages. The wearable bubble jacket can be used in an ETH-based virtual reality world Decentraland. The beverage brand enthusiasts and NFT proponents can openly place their bids in Ether on the OpenSea marketplace till August 2, 2021.
The loot box will also consist of special and novel collectibles for the winners which will be revealed the day when the box will be opened digitally for the viewers and bidders.

Coca-Cola has initiated this custom NFT collection to facilitate charity and proceeds collected through the sales of these NFTs will directly go to Special Olympics International, a global sports organization, which is constantly working to uplift the adults and children battling body disabilities.
