The details about Ford’s Mustang Mach-E cars, including the price and functionality, have been revealed before the official presentation.

As 2019 comes to an end, car lovers will be in for a bit of a treat. Ford (NYSE 8.95) was due to premiere a new fully-electric crossover SUV on November 17, 2019, just as we have already reported. But details and pictures of the new vehicles have leaked a few days early and this gives customers a chance to get a glimpse of Ford’s latest offering. This new model is called Mach-E and the leak comes from screenshots from the Ford website and also has the details on the pricing, configuration, and amenities that are offered in the new cars.

According to the leaked details, Ford’s Mustang Mach-E will have a starting price tag of $43,895 but this price is reduced once tax credit is applied. Should the consumer opt for a ‘select’ trim Mach-E at that price, they will receive 230 EPA-rated miles of range, either AWD or RWD and a 0-60 MPH time in the five-second range.

Besides the select Mach-E being offered by Ford, there are a number of other options that come ar varying prices. The premium trim Mach-E, for example, comes in at the price of $50,600 and also offers both either an AWD or RWD and the same 0 to 60 MPH time in the mid-five second range and also comes with 300 miles of estimated EPA-rated range.

Another model available is the “California Route 1” which offers only AWD and offers a 0 to 60 MPH time in a six-second range. It is slower compared to the other models but according to the leaked information, it is billed for long-distance cruising, unlike the others which would make it suitable for less strenuous drives.

Then there is the First Edition car which is priced at $59,900. This car has a range of 270 miles, goes from 0 to 60 MPH in a five-second range and will only be available on a limited basis and for the first batch of customers to reserve. This is the most stylish of the bunch with an exclusive selection of exterior colors as well as aluminum plates and contrast-colored interior stitching.

Finally, there’s a GT edition that has an MSRP of $60,500 goes from 0 to 60 MPH in a mid-three-second range and has an estimated mileage of 230 and is likely the fastest within the collection.

In terms of design, the Mustang Mach-E is very faithful to its name as it is very mustang-inspired but appears to be raised with paneling extended towards the road. A panorama roof view is also available which will likely be a fan favorite among small SUV lovers. The interior of the car itself seems to be inspired by Tesla cars and overall appears to be a mix of style and functionality. The information about the cars has since been taken down from the Ford website as an official launch is due to take place over the weekend in Los Angeles.

At the current moment, Ford stock is trading at a price of $8.95 USD (+1.76 %). And there are chances that the presentation of its E-Mach will positively influence the price.
