With its proven track record in Web3 infrastructure and virtual asset management, HashKey Group brings valuable experience to the launch of AON.

HashKey Group, a major player in Asia’s Web3 infrastructure development and virtual assets, has announced the launch of a new project, aimed at boosting the development of artificial intelligence (AI) applications within the Web3 ecosystem.

Dubbed the AGI Open Network (AON), this initiative, co-incubated by HashKey Tokenisation, represents a significant advancement in integrating blockchain technology and AI.

HashKey Accelerating Web3 AI Apps Development

The development of Web3 AI applications has been slowed down by long-standing challenges such as high AI computing costs, complex development processes, and poor incentives in open-source AI.

AON’s main goal is to tackle these problems head-on and speed up the development and distribution of Web3 AI applications. AON enables developers to build AI apps on the blockchain quickly and easily by using a simpler technology stack and distributed computing power.

AON’s is based on an Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) blockchain, specifically designed for Web3 AI applications. The platform consists of three components: the Advanced Distributed Computing Network, the Open Source Large Model Inference API Platform, and the D’App Store. With these features, developers gain access to idle computing power, streamlined development tools, and innovative incentive structures.

AON currently offers diverse AI capabilities with over 1000 open-source models, cost-efficient deployment, secure data encryption, and flexible payment options.

The platform will be developed by the AGI Open Source Alliance (AOSA), an organization committed to supporting  AI development around the world. It was officially founded on April 9 in Hong Kong, with support from Hashkey Global and other notable players in the web3 scene.

HashKey Global’s Good Track Record

HashKey Group has grown into Asia’s leading digital asset and financial services provider. The company gained popularity for its emphasis on regulatory compliance. Its portfolio boasts an array of Web3 product offerings, including HashKey Exchange, a leading cryptocurrency exchange that has set its sights on challenging industry giants like Coinbase.

With its proven track record in Web3 infrastructure and virtual asset management, HashKey Group brings valuable experience to the launch of AON. HashKey Capital, its global asset management wing specializing in investments in blockchain technology, has backed many prominent Web3 projects including dYdX, Harmony, IoTex, Ava Labs, etc. This new venture, if successful, could disrupt the highly competitive AI industry.

Venture capital investments in AI have been booming. With companies like NVIDIA achieving record-high valuations, the same effect is expected to trickle into Web3 AI projects. While HashKey Capital is yet to reveal the full details of its investment, this could easily be one of its biggest ventures given its rapidly growing interest in Web3 AI.
