In addition to the iPhone 13 release, the company is also expected to unveil new Apple Watch and AirPods models.

Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL) stock closed yesterday trading at $156.69, up 1.55%. During the day, AAPL stock rallied to hit an all-time high of around $157.26, following last week’s breakout. The uptrend proceeds the awaited September 14 Apple event when the iPhone 13 series is expected to be released.

According to news outlet CNBC, Apple began sending out invitations for the September 14 event to media outlets on Tuesday. In addition to the iPhone 13 release, the company is also expected to unveil new Apple Watch and AirPods models.

Should the September 14 event materialize as anticipated, Apple stock is expected to continue rallying further as the year comes to an end. According to market analytics provided by MarketWatch, Apple stock has gained approximately 29%, 18%, and 24% in the past year, year-to-date, and three months respectively through Tuesday. The meteoric rally has seen the company’s market cap surpass $2.5 trillion.

Wall Street analysts are optimistic the company can keep up with the uptrend in the coming quarters. Supported by a survey conducted by MarketWatch that shows 44 ratings gave an average of Over rating.

What to Expect of Apple Event on September 14

The event is scheduled to be streamlined via the company’s official website as with the prior recent events due to Covid resurgence. During the event as with prior ones, Apple is expected to announce updates on its various products.

Reportedly the iPhone 13 is rumored to feature four series;  the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Max. This is according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

It is anticipated that the company’s developers have designed new models that will feature upgrades on cameras and battery specs. Moreover, these are the most critical upgrades that the company can tweak since it has the latest chips that are in-house designed.

Similarly, the company is expected to tweak the Apple Watch 7 specs from the prior one. Among the expected upgrades are battery lifespan, and a possible blood glucose monitoring sensor. Additionally, the Apple Watch 7 is expected to come with the WatchOS 8 that was unveiled during the WWDC.

The September 14 Apple event is also expected to bring forth AirPods 3. Other expected updates include the iPad Mini 6, and a ninth-generation iPad.  Tech analysts are forecasting the company to announce a release date for the iOS 15 launch.

The company continues to release the latest technologies to compete with other global tech companies like Samsung and Huawei.
