The iPhone maker started its annual event with the launch of new versions of the Apple Watch.

Apple Watch Series 6 has the same design as the Series 4 and Series 5. However, it boasts improved internals and new finishes including an oximeter sensor. The sensor is made up of four LED clusters and four photodiodes. Incorporated into the completely redesigned back crystal, it works in concert with the Blood Oxygen app to determine your blood oxygen level. The measurement takes just 15 seconds. The item’s price starts at $399 for the 40mm GPS model and at $429 for the 44mm model. Adding the cellular option costs an additional $100.

As for Apple Watch SE, it features the S5 chip, watchOS 7, and a built-in compass. Available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, the device has a starting price of $279 for the GPS version.

During the Apple Event 2020, Apple CEO Tim Cook said he always uses Apple Watch himself. In the morning, he checks the weather, gets all notifications connected with work, tracks his working out. Besides, Cook mentioned numerous cases when Apple Watch helped to rescue people.

Apple’s New iPads

Further, Apple unveiled its new iPad that features the advanced A12 Bionic chipset. The iPad is touting speed over rival laptops and tablets due to Neural engine, iPad OS 14, and Apple Pencil improvements. The iPad 8th generation is available for $329, as the previous models. Besides, it will cost $299 for education.

Another device in the lineup is the iPad Air that resembles the iPad Pro. According to Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, iPad Air is the most powerful, versatile, and colorful iPad Air ever. He said:

“With its gorgeous new all-screen design, larger 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, next-generation Touch ID, and a massive boost in performance with A14 Bionic, the new iPad Air brings customers powerful pro features at an even more affordable price. Along with major upgrades to the iPad Pro and eighth-generation iPad this year, and the powerful new features of iPadOS 14, this is our strongest iPad lineup ever, giving our customers even more ways to enrich their daily lives.”

In addition to the powerful A14 Bionic processor, iPad Air has a 7MP front-facing FaceTime HD camera and features the same 12MP rear camera used in iPad Pro for higher resolution photos and 4K video capture.

iPad Air features a completely new thin and light design in five gorgeous finishes: silver, space gray, rose gold, green, and sky blue. The iPad will be available for sale next month, its price starts at $599.

Fitness+ Workout Services

Apple Fitness+ connects Apple Watch users to trainers and makes it easy for everyone to get the best workout on the iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV. According to Apple, Fitness+ is suitable for everyone from beginners to experts, with modifications for all levels in every workout. You choose the type of workout, the time, and the trainer — it’s totally up to you. There’s also an instructional program called the Absolute Beginner program for people who need to learn the basics. New workout videos will be published weekly.

Monthly price varies from $15 to $30 depending on how many people are accessing the bundle and what offerings are included. For example, the Apple One individual plan will cost $15 per month and includes Music, TV+, Arcade and 50GB of iCloud storage. The family plan includes access for up to six people, features the same mix of services and more cloud storage for $20 per month.
