Cere Freeport is a new platform for storing and delivering NFTs in an absolute decentralized manner. Besides, Cere Freeport also delivers these assets with the NFT to the purchasers in a trustless way using smart contracts.

As non-fungible tokens gain major traction in the market, the Decentralized Data Cloud (DDC) platform Cere Network announced the launch of its NFT-focused solution suit Cere Freeport. For This, the Cere Network has also partnered with Polygon Studios.

The NFT asset management platform Cere Freeport will focus on secure delivery and custody of non-fungible tokens. It is also the first truly decentralized NFT management platform allowing developers to secure and deliver NFT-backed data assets together. Besides, Cere Freeport also delivers these assets with the NFT to the purchasers in a trustless way using smart contracts.

Freeport network will allow users to publish NFT assets that exist on Cere’s Decentralized Data Cloud. It will protect the most exclusive NFT assets via encryption. It also delivers viewers with “Independent viewing experiences, usage in games, and artistic interactions between creators and collectors can be built over NFT ownership”.

Also, the good thing is that Cere Freeport can directly integrate with Ethereum through smart contracts along with other EVM-compatible blockchains like Polygon, Polkadot’s Kusama and the Binance Smart Chain. Sandeep Nailwal, Polygon Co-founder and COO appreciated this development from Cere. He further added:

“One of the main problems for NFT security is that the underlying data is stored on centralized file servers. Cere Freeport is a gamechanger in that it’s stored in a truly decentralized data cloud, meaning storage and ownership of NFTs is not reliant on centralized ISPs (Internet Service Providers) or IPFS (InterPlanetary File System). Cere Freeport is the solution for this acute need of the entire blockchain ecosystem.”

NFT-Focused Cere Freeport Will Be Open to All

Cere announced that its Freeport platform will be open to all including artists, creators, to mint and manage their NFT assets. The good thing is that it features ready-to-integrate smart contracts along with a Software Development Kit (SDK) for developers.

Some of the initial projects that will be using Freeport are Chianguardians, Bit.Country, Blockchain Cuties, QORPO, Dream Quest and Amberfi. Furthermore, the partnership with Bit.Country will allow Cere NFT users to gain access to multi-metaverse in order to showcase the power of Cere protocols. Speaking of this development, Fred Jin, Co-founder of Cere Network said:

“By launching the first viable decentralized data platform for everything NFTs, we are ensuring the future of individual, privacy-preserving data ownership. Cere Freeport is reducing the barriers of entry for everyone in creating, securing, and delivering NFT-powered products and experiences. Freeport ensures that you will have no worries or complications with securing your NFTs and will easily be able to access and share your assets for generations to come.”
